He is an experienced engineer with over 11 years of experience in the field of carbon advisory, climate change and clean energy technologies. He has a post graduate degree in sustainable energy from Australia, and MSc in engineering management from Nepal. He has a deep understanding of international energy and environmental market having worked as a head of a carbon advisory firm in Australia. His experience in the carbon industry includes his advisory work for the multinational companies, financial institutions and banks in the European Union Emission Trading Scheme (EUETS), Clean Development Mechanism, emerging carbon markets in Australia, Asia, Latin America and Africa.

He has significant experience in transfer of environmental friendly technologies in developing countries. He has assisted governments in developing countries to formulate environmental policies for cleaner technologies.
