Field course on Conservation Biology and Global Health at Human-Environment Interface
A three days field course on Conservation Biology and Global Health at Human-Environment Interface were successfully conducted in NAMI College in collaboration of NAMI College and the University of Washington.
The CEO of NAMI College Mr. Pawan Pokharel, The Principal of NAMI College Dr. Bidisha Chakraborty and Prof Randall Kyes from the University of Washington jointly inaugurate the field course on February 22.
Total 34 students of Environment Science and Natural Resources Management from four different Colleges (TU CDES, GGIC, TU, necCPS, PU and NAMI College) participated in the field Course. The field course focus on Human-Environment Interface, wildlife study technique, human-wildlife conflict, and its mitigation, Biodiversity Conservation, changing the climate, indigenous cultures and practice for conservation biology and various sampling techniques on the field.
The field course was concluded on February 24. During Closing programme representative of all colleges gave a vote of thanks to University of Washington and NAMI College, and Administration chief of NAMI College Mr. Nirdosh Shrestha put closing remark and gifted a token of love to Professor Randall C Kyes.
