Toastmasters orientation and training programme

Public speaking is an invaluable skill, which enhances the leadership and communication skills as well as confidence and overall personality of any individual. In order to hone the public speaking ability of the staff, NAMI organized Toastmasters orientation and training program on 22nd August 2019. The session was conducted by Toastmasters Club (part of Toastmasters International) members.


Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. Headquartered in Englewood, Colo., the organization's membership exceeds 357,000 in more than 16,600 clubs in 143 countries. Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped people from diverse backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders.


The session turned out to be immensely fruitful to its participants, and a majority of attendees expressed interest in joining the Toastmasters International Club.
